Extended Repair Plan Overview
Every car from TR Motors comes with a 3-month warranty as standard, unless stated otherwise. This is a simple overview of what’s included in our optional Extended Repair Plan and what is not.
This plan is not insurance, it’s a discretionary repair plan provided by TR Motors to support you with repair costs for sudden mechanical or electrical failures.
Warranty Options:
3-Month Warranty – Free
(Does not cover optional extras)
1-Year Warranty – £349
Includes coverage for the following optional extras:
Air Conditioning
Handbrake
Suspension
Radio / Sat Nav
Repair limit: Up to the full sale price of the vehicle
Labour rate: £120 per hour
Excess: £50

What’s Covered
The plan includes sudden and unforeseen breakdown of major mechanical and electrical parts:
Engine – Internal components like pistons, valves, oil pump, etc.
Gearboxes – Manual, automatic & hybrid transaxles.
Clutch – Cables, pedal assembly, hydraulic parts (not friction material).
Flywheels – Solid and dual-mass (not clutch-damaged).
Cooling System – Water pump, thermostat, radiator.
Turbocharger – Factory-fitted units.
Electrics – Alternator, starter motor, central locking, window motors.
ECU – Engine control unit only.
Fuel System – Fuel pumps, injectors, sensors (excluding NOx).
Ignition – Coils, crank/camshaft sensors.
Drive & Transmission – Differentials, shafts, bearings.
Steering – Rack & pinion, pumps, joints.
Suspension – Wheel bearings and similar components.
Casings are covered only if damaged by a failure of a listed part.

Air Conditioning – £350 limit
Emissions Components (DPF, EGR, CAT) – £350 limit
Hybrid Battery – £500 limit
Suspension & Handbrake Parts – £350 limit
Sat-Nav/Multimedia – £350 limit
What’s Not Covered
This plan does not cover:
Wear and tear unless optional cover is selected.
Parts not listed under "What’s Covered".
Issues that existed before the plan started.
Faults caused by neglect, abuse, or poor maintenance.
Noisy, worn, or corroded parts that haven't failed.
Service items (brakes, filters, fluids, tyres, etc.).
Failures due to missed services or overdue cambelt changes.
Modified vehicles or faults caused by non-standard parts.
Vehicles used for hire, taxi, courier, racing or off-road.
Repairs done without prior authorisation.
Lifetime-expired parts (e.g. clutches beyond normal wear).
Faults caused by external damage, impact or poor workmanship.
Maintenance Requirements
Vehicle must be serviced according to manufacturer schedule.
Cambelt must be changed at recommended intervals.
Proof of service history and repairs must be kept.
Authorisation must be obtained before repair work starts.
Customer may need to contribute depending on vehicle age/mileage.
Important Notes
Covers vehicles under 3.5 tonnes and with fewer than 8 seats.
You must report faults within 30 days of noticing them.
Misuse or failure to maintain the car properly may void the plan.
Repairs can be done at any VAT-registered garage with approval.
Plan can be cancelled within 30 days if no claims are made.

It is your responsibility to read and understand your warranty documents to know exactly what is and isn’t covered.
